The entire event was a continuation on January 20, 1996, that is, seven days after being informed about the accident by the American government to the Brazilian army, described in detail the Brazilian journalist Vitorio Pacaccini.
In the morning, the local fire department received a report that several girls had seen very strange animals in the forest. Firefighters immediately went there and actually also captured a creature – a humanoid that smelled very strange. But after being captured, he died and was handed over to the Brazilian army.

According to the description, the creature was about a meter tall, with dark brown skin, large red eyes and three elongated crests on its head. On the same day, however, the police saw the other frightened people who also saw the strange creatures. However, the police could not intervene because they all took the Brazilian army, which immediately appeared in the places where the unknown creatures were sighted.
Mysterious events etched in the memory of local residents continued on the same day, but at night. The army had closed and occupied the local hospital and most hospital staff, but patients had to leave the building. Patients who had a hospital stay were locked in hospital rooms.
According to witnesses, several trucks and cars with unknown contents and men with suitcases arrived in front of the hospital. The entire hospital in the area was closed for nearly two full days. It later became evident that, by the son of one of the doctors who stayed in the hospital, he revealed that his father was in the operating room under the supervision of the army dissected unknown humanoid creature that smelled bad.
